Back from London for a show in 2016 titled ‘Underwater Worlds” in collaboration with The British Museum ‘Sunkin Cities.’ Due to Brexit and Covid, I was just recently able to have this piece returned.

This is one in my series of emotionally charged ocean wave abstract artworks. I used saturated vibrant colors and powerful brush strokes, as I do in all my paintings, in order to create a lasting visual impression. I wanted the viewer to imagine the gold figures and objects reflected on water as they were being lifted out.

Materials:
Professional acrylic paints and canvas. Finished with a glaze of UV varnish to protect against sunlight and dust damage.
