Last painting of 2023, late December to Jan 2024. I wanted to create something cheerful and uplifting.

Painted edges. Acrylic, Pigments and Ink on canvas. Gallery Wrapped, with painted sides. I incorporated the Sherwin Williams Color of the Year ‘Upward.’

This is one in my series of emotionally charged coastal abstract artworks. I used saturated vibrant colors and powerful brush strokes, as I do in all my paintings, in order to create a lasting visual impression.

Materials:
Professional paints and canvas. Finished with a glaze of UV varnish to protect against sunlight and dust damage.
