This is one in my series of emotionally charged coastal abstract artworks. I used saturated vibrant colors and powerful brush strokes, as I do in all my paintings, to create a lasting visual impression.
I finely hand-embellish each print by using acrylic paints, and ink to highlight areas throughout the print, resembling the texture of the original painting. You have the option to add additional colors to match your décor.
Other sizes are available, just ask.
Additionally, original painting or textile commissions are always welcomed.
Limited edition, signed, hand embellished giclee' prints on canvas are available. Fine art prints are reproduced from my original paintings.

John Crowther Critic Commentary on the original painting.
February 17
“Swirling panoplies of color, thick impasto, and bold brushstrokes define Margaret Juul’s Art In Bloom. The kaleidoscopic nature of the composition is balanced by a foundation of greens and blues that lighten as they advance from the bottom of the canvas to the near-white upper center (I think there is a thickly applied area of white acrylic, but I can't be sure). The painting has an aquatic coastal air, brightly colored beach umbrellas, an ocean, and a clear sky. The picture also evokes rainbow-like fields of flowers flourishing under the sun shining out of a clear blue sky. For me, however, the painting is an abstract expression of nurturing and birth. All the wiggling lines of color move towards and wrap around the amorphous, lightly-hued upper center in a caring and life-giving manner. A painting about life and love.”
